My profession is Industrial Engineer, with a Master in Business Administration and a Diploma in Logistics Management.
I had a long career in the manufacturing industry, where I forged my profile as an engineer, which allowed me to develop my skills as a planner, organizer and manager of any activity related to the creation and delivery of products and services.
With time, I felt that in order to be better professionally prepared, I needed not only a great experience in the operations area of an industrial company in my country, but also in a service one, what’s more, outside my country.
It was so I decided to take over as Business Controller of a Health Company (Medical Emergency) in Brazil. After that, I had many experiences in different kind of companies and places: as Advisor in strategy, operations, marketing, finance (among other disciplines) to renowned companies of various sectors in Uruguay; as Manager of Project and Innovation, Technology and Industrial Services (Maintenance, Automation and Energy), in a Mega-dairy in Uruguay, for the production and export of very high-quality milk powder; as General Manager for a technological start-up in the road transport sector in Brazil; as Supply and Operations Manager for a refined sugar and bio-fuel manufacturer in Uruguay.
All these experiences in different kind of companies and countries, have given me the tools and knowledge to deal with a wide range of situations and peoples.
What I have discovered during the years, working with people, is the fact that all of us have a deep necessity to give something to a cause that is worth. What’s more, to develop “worthwhile life careers”.
This is what I like. This is what I'm passionate about. Helping people develop their life careers putting at their disposal, all my tools and experience to maket it.
That’s why I am proud to be a BMY Certified Practitioner.
