I have over 35 years experience in education, working a teacher, manager and most recently Adviser on matters related to curriculum and assessment. I've worked in many sectors, including Secondary, Further and Higher Education, advising on best approaches to enhance delivery of learning through embedding skills - most recently those associated with Entrepreneurship. In addition to my educational qualifications I hold specialist certificates in Entrepreneurship - I was awarded Fellowship of the National Council for Entrepreneurship in Education and am currently contracted as an Associate. I facilitate workshops for teachers using the BMY canvas, enabling participants to re-visit their core purpose as an educator and the value they bring through their role. My aim is to help educators envision the bigger picture, gain insights into future possibilities engendering professional and personal benefits. This canvas-related 'entrepreneurial' approach may also be utilised by participants in their ongoing work with students, helping to promote entrepreneurial thinking and attitudes.
