Change agent and insatiable entrepreneur, Ghani Kolli
understood that creativity and innovation are a must-have
to create innovative business models.
He started early making his mark. Resilient, curious and an
outstanding communicator, he has always been fascinated
by technology. Developing programs, understanding
the intelligence beyond technology, solving problems
and quickly adapt to an environment of uncertainty,
that’s what was motivating Ghani who already had that
entrepreneurial spirit. Indeed, he quickly grasped the
essential nature in the field of technology: it should
Augment Humanity.
At the age of 24, he founded his first startup in technology
and then created two others, a recent one in Montreal,
HumanYo+Team, in the field of artificial intelligence with
impact in the human resources field.
Sales director, General manager and than CEO of businesses
in North Africa (Morocco and Algeria) and in Canada, he
is renowned for his managing skills as well as his skills for
strategic design in numerous starting or growing SMEs,
startups and NPOs that now enjoy an excellent reputation
for their impact on economic growth in both Quebec and
Maghreb. In 2014, Ghani became the founder and CEO of
HumanYo+Impact.
Following is post-secondary studies in arts and social
sciences, he started university studies in information systems at University of Béjaia, He then studied in
international trade and business administration in Algiers
and at HEC Montreal.

Innovation and having been involved with the Jack Welch
Management Institute as a business coach, he is also
known for his mastery of innovative methodologies such
us Blue Ocean Strategy, Design a Better Business, Design
Thinking, Lean Startup as well as many others.
Building relationships easily with people, he has always
been involved in various business networks including
the Laval Chambre of Commerce and the Pôle Régional
d’Innovation de Laval. He has been the Lead Organizer
of the Laval’s first two Startup weekends. He is one of
the instigators and administrator of the CDCA (Conseil de
développement Canada-Algérie).
Being an excellent communicator, he acts as a public
speaker for entrepreneurs and business leaders. He is
also co-creator of the book Business Models for Teams and
has contributed to the book The Real Startup Book. He has
received multiple awards and distinctions.
