Carles Singla (El Pla de Santa Maria, Tarragona, 1966) is a full professor at the Faculty of Communication of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona. He has a degree in Information Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a PhD in Journalism from the UPF. He has worked as a journalist in the daily newspapers Avui and Diari de Barcelona and has been head of communication at the Institute of Continuing Education of the UPF. Since 1996 he co-directs the master’s programme in Communication Management in the UPF-Barcelona School of Management.
