As BMY’s most Certified Cocreation Coach, business model skills developed in personal applications have continually inspired my practice. BMY certifications include Business Model You page 252 list of cocreators making potent contributions, Business Models for Teams cocreator and case study contributor page 158, Practioner certification San Francisco master class, Practioner certification 2020 online master class, participant in the first coaching Practicum 2020.
My journey started as a business broker (see the case study page 239 of the first book). I advise on the personal journeys of business owners and it seemed to me that Personal Business models would be an exceptional tool. They are; however BMY coaching is generally viewed as “career” coaching and being a career coach just wouldn't “fit” me.
What did fit was doing Talk Out Loud Laboratories with business people. I began to realize the “listener’s” best and highest role was to amplify (not critique) the model presenter. It is an act of cocreation; and I find getting people into Talk Out Loud Laboratories may be the surest way to get them started on the Act stage of the Business Model You process. That’s when things really get exciting.
I put together an online Talk Out Loud Laboratory facility where members can practice presenting, cocreating, and observing at our online coffee shop. For my fellow Practioners, it’s a place to sharpen your skills (contact me for a special membership link) and to have clients develop theirs. Everyone is invited to join.
